Patrick is a passionate and experienced certified High-Intensity-Training (HIT) Instructor. After 10 years in the fitness industry he has come to learn that his true passion lies in helping people achieve their fitness goals.
Clients ranging from 13–80 have benefited from Patrick’s 20-minute, high-intensity strength and fitness training. And regardless of his client’s generational differences or whether they had an active or sedentary lifestyle before working-out with him, they all share something in common – they always noticed considerable improvements in their strength, endurance, and overall energy level.
Patrick believes that the secret for successful training is to exhaust the muscle to the point of fatigue by utilizing the client’s maximum weight limit coupled with slow reps and performing one set per exercise. If done properly, the effects are amazing and, your work-out time is drastically reduced and safe. Patrick has experience working with Active Resistance Exercise (ARX) which is now available at Palo Alto Fit; he is a big believer in the effectiveness and efficiency of this technology.
Patrick wanted to prove that his training approach works so he entered his first fitness competition in 2016 at the age of 48 – he placed 2nd. His training routine consisted of 20-minute work-outs twice a week and he began his training 15 weeks before the competition.
Surfing, grappling, reading theology and evidence base exercises books, body-hacking, hanging out with family and enjoying a glass of wine with friends.
